Server Ingame Rules & Regulations

ReGroupRO players and Game Masters must obey and comply with the following rules:
1. You are responsible for your account. If you give your password to a friend or sibling and they break the rules on your account, and you get disciplined, oh well. Please be careful about who has you password.]
2. You must respect everyone in the server. Insulting, the use of swears, discrimination, racism, sexism or any other offending comments are not tolerated and may result in punishment.
3. You are not allowed to create any character whose name contains the acronym *GM* or the title *Game Master*. This rule also applies to party name, guild name, and guild title. You are also not allowed to impersonate other players or Game Masters.
4. You are not allowed to create any character whose name contains inappropriate terms. This includes any words of slander, profanity, insult and sexual nature. This rule also applies to party name, guild name, guild title, pet name, homunculus name, shop name and chatroom name.
5. You are not allowed to use offensive language. Punishments of this vary due to the severity of the action. - Profanity: This is the use of "swear" or "curse" words. There is a very small amount of lenience with this, but should the terms become offensive, the appropriate action will be taken. - Racial slurs: This is the use of degrading statements or terms directed at a group or individual based on their race. This will NOT be tolerated under any circumstances, and will be harshly dealt with. - Sexual nature: This is the use of any sexual terms, mention of any genitalia, or sexual innuendos. This also includes the use of letters, numbers, and other characters to present obscene images. Like racism this will be deal with harshly, and without warning.
6. You are not allowed to harass other players and Game Masters. Harassment is defined as seeking to insult or disturb another player while on the server. Examples of harassment include repeatedly attempting to continue speaking to or bothering another player after they have made it clear to you that they don't wish to talk to you, and intentionally evading measures such as /ex. Note that being killed on a PVP map is not considered harassment.
7. You are not allowed to cast skills repeatedly with no purpose other than being an annoyance or distraction. You are also not allowed to overflow the chat window with at least five of the same messages or unintelligible gibberish.
8. You are not allowed to kill steal or loot steal. This means intentionally attacking a monster that someone else has already been killing, or running up and taking the loots it drops before the MVP player can get to it. Please note that the use of @autoloot can significantly reduce the chances of loot stealing.
9. MVPs are a free for all. Anyone and everyone can attack an MVP regardless of who was there first.
10. You are not allowed to exploit the bugs in the server. Bug exploitation is defined as intentional use of in-game errors in any skill, NPC, or item script to generate results which give a player a distinct advantage unintended by the staff, or intentionally withholding knowledge of such an issue from the staff. If you encountered any bug or error, it should be reported to the staff immediately.
11. You are not allowed to bot. Botting is defined as proven use of third party technology that gives an unfair advantage over other players. This includes, but is not limited to, macros, speed hacks,packet sniffers, as well as general botting programs. If your keyboard or mouse has built-in macro functions, this functionality must be disabled off while playing the server.
12. You are not allowed to advertise other servers. Any mention of other server or their website in your character name, party name, guild name, guild title, pet name, homunculus name, shop name as well as chat room name is forbidden. You are also not allowed to advertise it by mentioning the name in public chat, or whisper.
13. Selling in-game items to other players for real-life money is illegal. Anyone caught doing this will be dealt with accordingly.
14. You are not allowed to use your Homunculus to farm money for your while you are AFK. Anyone caught doing this will be kicked out of the game and and will be dealt with once they are online again.
